The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered under Section 7 of the E.C. Act.
The allegation against the petitioner is that when the informant raided the shop and seized food grains, he fled away seeing the raiding party from the spot It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is the driver of Pick-up van and he has got no concern with the rice which was on the vehicle rather he was only to transport the same. The prosecution has lodged this case only for the reason that the rice bags were having marks of FCI. Hence, it is presumed that the said rice was for black marketing. On behalf of the State, it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the first information report. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner, named above, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be
