The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.That by filing this writ application, the petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of quo warranto by quashing and setting aside the appointment of the private respondent, namely, Shri Kishori Mahto @ Mahanth Kishor Deo Das Son of Late Nanak Lai Mahto @ Chele Mahanth Jai Ram Das from the

Patna High Court CWJC No.5439 of 2024(2) dt.04-07-2024 2/2 post of Gramin Dak Sewak of Somnaha Mirijanagar Branch Post Office who secured the public employment by suppressing his actual date of birth and despite this petitioner's representation the authorities have failed to look into the illegal appointment of the private respondent.

And also for issuance of appropriate writ/s, order/s, direction/s to the respondents to take appropriate action against the respondent no 6 who has got job after suppressing his actual date of birth."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands dismissed.
