The petitioner has a grievance that his Certificate of Secondary/Senior Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) has been withheld by the D.E.O., Rohtas at Sasaram and on account of that his counseling to be held for selection on the post of teacher in Zila Parishad School, Arrah is going to be adversely affected. Without going into the correctness of such submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, this

Patna High Court CWJC No.10258 of 2015 (2) dt.14-07-2015 Court would straightway direct the District Education Officer, Rohtas at Sasaram to look into the grievance of the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled for issuance of his such Secondary/Senior Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) certificate, the same must be issued to him as early as possible and in no event beyond a period of one week from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order if the petitioner is found entitled for the same.

It also goes without saying that if the petitioner is not found entitled for the same, the District Education Officer, Rohtas at Sasaram shall pass necessary orders informing the petitioner of such reason within the aforesaid period of one week.

With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
