The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 271 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Around fifty four litres of Nepali liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 08.10.2017 and does not bear criminal antecedent.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction
