Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with a case for the offence under Section 414 of the Penal Code registered in connection with theft of Bolero vehicle bearing Registration No.
WB-12B-4271, Chassis No.
MAIXA2GAK52F15909. It is said that at the time of seizure of the vehicle by the informant Station House Officer, Jalalpur Police Station on 30.05.2014 chassis number of the vehicle was verified from the papers available with the document(s), discrepancy was found as the last digit was missing from the registration
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40219 of 2015 (2) dt.06-10-2015 document. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that vehicle owner is Ms. Gyanwati Sharma, wife of Ashok Kumar Sharma, resident of 19, Bhagwan Ganguly Lane, Hawrah, she never lodged any complaint that her vehicle has been stolen as petitioner is a rightful purchaser from her.
Let petitioner, named above, surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in the court below, thereafter be released on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 5,000/- (five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri S.C. Singh, Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra or his available successor court in connection with Jalalpur Police Station Case No. 59 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
