Petitioner is in custody in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 16 of 2018 for the offence under sections 498A,341, 323, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He is ready to keep his wife with full honour and dignity and he undertakes that in the event the petitioner is released on bail he will prove himself to be an ideal husband and will not cause any embarrassment by his conduct in maintaining cordial relation.

Learned counsel submits that petitioner is in custody since 31.05.2018.

No.54652 of 2018(2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 Considering the aforesaid, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Nalanda at Biharsharif, in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 16 of 2018 on the condition that the petitioner will furnish a bond before the court below with undertaking that he will keep his wife with full honour and dignity then the court below will review the conduct of the petitioner fortnightly for a period of six months to ascertain whether the petitioner stands by the undertaking to maintain his wife with full honour and dignity or not. In the event, if it is found that the petitioner neglects his wife or commits any mischief, the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
