The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 184-C of 2012 registered under sections 498-A of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there being no allegation of torture inflicted by the petitioner and though the present case has been filed with the allegation of demand of dowry and torture, the petitioner is still willing and ready to keep his wife, namely, Arati Kumari alias Rani Kumari with honour and dignity. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner undertakes that there will be no

Considering the bona fide offer made by the petitioner, let the petitioner above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Complaint Case No. 184-C of 2012 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
