The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 1408 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the co-accused having more or less similar allegation has already been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No.16777 of 2020 and the case of this petitioner stands on similar footing. The petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 30.11.2019.

No.17296 of 2020(2) dt.09-06-2020 2/2 Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and also the lock-down, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his personal bond to the satisfaction of learned Session Court -cum- Special Court, Muzaffarpur in connection with Ahiyapur P.S. Case No. 1408 of 2019. Once the normalcy is restored, the petitioner shall furnish bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each within a period of four weeks to the satisfaction of the court concerned in connection with the aforesaid case.
