2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chandauti P.S. Case No. 27 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code later on Section 395 of the I.P.C. was added.

3. As per the prosecution case, unknown criminals have committed dacoity in the house of the informant in the night and looted various articles including jewellery and money. The petitioner is accused in 20 more similar and serious cases.

4. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner has vehemently argued the bail petition and has submitted that there is no material against the petitioner and the only material against

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18172 of 2025(5) dt.15-09-2025 2/2 the petitioner is that his name has come in the self inculpatory statement of the co-accused, from whom recovery was made. The petitioner is in custody since 13.11.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, gravity of the offence and the antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.
