The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 1319 of 2019, arising out of Didarganj P.R. Case No. 157 of 2019 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018 / Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lady and she has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 05.02.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 32 litres of country made liquor was recovered. He further submits that nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is a lady and

No.18535 of 2019(2) dt.27-03-2019 2/2 she has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with Excise Case No. 1319 of 2019, arising out of Didarganj P.R. Case No. 157 of 2019.
