The petitioner is in custody in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No.269 of 2016, a case under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he gave dagger blow one and more causing injury on the stomach of the father of the informant as a result whereof he died. The petitioner is in custody since 13.10.2016. Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner and nature of injury found, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
