For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs/order/orders/direction/directions to the respondent no.4 to 6, i.e. District Bar Association, Purnea and its office bearers to pay to the petitioner body their share of Rs.8,59,221/- for the period of October 1995 to December, 2003, which

Patna High Court CWJC No.16938 of 2014(2) dt.02-03-2023 2/2 they were entitled to in terms of Resolution passed by District Bar Association, Purnea in 1989 and in terms of Model Rules framed by the Bihar State Bar Council on 28.07.1991 vide Resolution No.54 (reported in 2000(2) BBCJ) and Respondent Nos.1 to 3 be directed and commanded to ensure payment of said amount."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
