1. The limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present writ petition is to direct the Sub-Divisional Officer, Muzaffarpur (East) to dispose off the pending Case No.02 of 2023, filed by the petitioner under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid case is still pending, the same

Patna High Court CWJC No.4651 of 2023(2) dt.09-10-2023 2/2 shall be disposed off, expeditiously.

3. Having regard to the limited prayer, made by the petitioner, in the present writ petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Sub-Divisional Officer, Muzaffarpur (East) to dispose off the aforesaid Case No.02 of 2023, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, after hearing the affected parties, within a period of 12 weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
