The petitioners, who are in custody, seek bail in connection with Excise Case No. 322 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Allegation against petitioner No. 1 is of recovery of 42 litres of Nepalese Soffy from his possession and 21 litres of Nepalese Soffy from possession of petitioner No. 2. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 14.07.2018.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55266 of 2018(2) dt.18-09-2018 2/2 the case, let the petitioners named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 7th Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Excise Case No. 322 of 2018.
