Heard the parties in virtual Court.
Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Petitioners were on the truck from which huge quantity of liquor was recovered. Petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. They are in custody since 19.02.2021.
Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail after framing of the charges
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29152 of 2021(2) dt.08-10-2021 2/2 so that trial may not hamper on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Jokihat Police Station Case No.66 of 2021 arising out of Special Case No.190 of 2021 with following conditions:
(a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.
(b) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
(c) The petitioners shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
