2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonepur Excise P.S. Case No. 05/2026 registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2026

3. As per the prosecution case, three litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Learned counsel further submits that petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 25.01.2026. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20683 of 2026(2) dt.01-04-2026 2/2 for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 3, Saran, Chapra /concerned Court below in connection with Sonepur Excise P.S. Case No. 05/2026.
