The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 144/2017 dated 08.09.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 30(1) and 38 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the possession of the petitioner, 75 bottles of illicit Nepali liquor, containing 300ml in each bottle, was recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 08.09.2017 and he does not bear any criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional
