Petitioner, being the mother of the husband of the victim, is languishing in custody since 30.10.2015 in a case registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The prosecution case is of torture for non-fulfillment of the dowry demand.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegation is general and omnibus. The investigation has already concluded.
