JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 22-04-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State through virtual Court proceedings. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 04.02.2022, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and has antecedent of two cases. Allegation is of recovery of 11 litres of liquor from the petitioner kept in a bag.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was standing near his house and came to be implicated when the search was made as the police falsely

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 04.02.2022, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and in the nature of allegations, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Parasi P.S. Case No. 8 of 2022.
