2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Forbesganj P.S. Case No. 911 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 418, 420, 467, 468, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the ICICI Branch Manager, Forbesganj, namely, Chandan Kumar, has informed the informant i.e. S.I. Amit Kumar of Forbesganj P.S. that something is found doughty during the transfer of Rs. 5,00,000/- from the A/C No. 260805002571 to the A/C No.181105002670.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26571 of 2024(2) dt.01-05-2024 2/2 case. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. He submits that there is no specific overt act against the petitioner. He further submits that only on the basis of suspicion the petitioner has been made accused in the present case. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as mentioned in para-3 of this application.
5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the petitioner is also involved in the present case.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of case and the nature of the offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
