The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that the informant got secret information that the petitioner has kept concealed a motorcyle in his house, which was looted away by Mantosh @ Bengwa. The informant along with armed forces reached and raided the house of the petitioner and demanded paper, but he could not produce the same.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 15.01.2019 and has got no criminal antecedent. Charge sheet has been submitted in this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17895 of 2019(2) dt.03-05-2019 2/2 case. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner had purchased the motorcycle in question. He had no knowledge that the motorcycle in question is stolen property. It is further submitted that the petitioner may be released after completion of six months in custody from 15.01.2019.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of six months in custody from 15.01.2019 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Madhepura in connection with Kumarkhand (Belari O.P.) P.S. case No.10 of 2019.
