The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No. 82 of 2017 dated 28.05.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273, 353, 427 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 30(A), 34 and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
The petitioner is in custody since 22.08.2017. It is alleged that around 216 litres of Nepali liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent.
In the facts and circumstances, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.57004 of 2017 (2) dt.06-12-2017 of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No. 82 of 2017.
