In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 562 of 2016 registered for offence punishable under sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that the deceased was killed on account of non-satisfaction of demand of dowry. The petitioner is husband of deceased.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail, the court below without being prejudiced by this order, will take decision in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.24240 of 2019(2) dt.16-04-2019 2/2 accordance with law.
