By filing the present writ petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report of Sasaram (T) P.S.Case No.897 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections 135 and 138 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
The allegations made in the FIR do constitute a cognizable offence.
In that view of the matter, I find no merit in the writ
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.4 of 2014 (2) dt.09-01-2015 2/2 petition. Accordingly, it is dismissed.
