The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 214 of 2017 dated 25.07.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Fifteen litres of country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 26.07.2017 and does not have any criminal antecedent.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56827 of 2017 (2) dt.01-12-2017 2/2 thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Sitamarhi in connection with Bajpatti P.S. Case No. 214 of 2017.
