The petitioner seeks bail in connection with N.T.P.C. P.S. Case No. 48 of 2017 dated 13.06.2017 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

1207 litres of country made liquor was recovered from the vehicle which was parked inside the house of one Randhir Kumar. The petitioner is stated to be the owner of the vehicle from where the illicit liquor was recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 15.09.2017 and does not have any criminal antecedent.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

No.56820 of 2017 (2) dt.01-12-2017 2/2 The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with NTPC P.S.
