Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No.198 of 2017, registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 120B, 504, 153(A) and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that a large number of people belonging to both the communities raised slogans against each other and created communal tension.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner of brick batting. However, there is no injury to anyone and the petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.147 of 2018 (3) dt.15-01-2018 2 /2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner Aftab Ansari @ Fudan @ Aftab Alam is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Arwal in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No.198 of 2017.
