The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 109 of 2019 arising out of Chainpur P.S. Case No. 62 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 37 (I) (II) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 7.740 liters of illicit liquor from a house which is in the joint possession of the petitioner and his family members.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that though the petitioner is accused in some other cases, but he is on bail in the said cases. The petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18151 of 2019(2) dt.02-04-2019 2/2 stated to be languishing in custody since 14.02.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (Excise), Kaimur at Bhabua in connection with Excise Case No. 109 of 2019 arising out of Chainpur P.S. Case No. 62 of 2019.
