Petitioner is accused in connection with Excise Case No. 24 of 2020 registered under Sections 30(a) and 37(b) of the Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 12.02.2020.
