The petitioners are in custody in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No. 308 of 2019 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 11.12.2019. They were apprehended on the disclosure made by two persons who were arrested by the police that they are selling agents of the petitioners. He further submits that in the instant case total 38 litres of country made liquor was seized.

The petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing their personal bond to the satisfaction of 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Rohtas P.S. Case No. 308 of 2019 due to the circumstance of total lockdown on account of the pandemic of COVID-2019.
