JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-08-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Begusarai P.S. Case No. 4 of 2016 registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

It would be evident from the record that the petitioner is a habitual offender. He has been made accused in at least three other cases of identical nature.

In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. Accordingly, the application for bail is rejected.

The jurisdictional Magistrate before whom the matter is pending is directed to expedite the trial of the case and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35349 of 2016 (2) dt.22-08-2016 2/2 conclude the same as early as possible, preferably within six months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of the order, failing which the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
