The petitioner is accused in connection with Chandradeep P.S. Case No. 22 of 2016, registered under Section 25(1-b)a, 26 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that petitioner was apprehended by the Police at Ashansole and was taken to Jamui and on the basis of confessional statement of this petitioner, one country made pistol and two cartridges are said to be recovered from the abandoned building of Forest Department. Further submission is that, in fact, the petitioner is accused in five other cases and due to that reason, the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case showing the said recovery of country made pistol and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34085 of 2016 (2) dt.17-08-2016 2/2 cartridge on the basis of the disclosure made by the petitioner from the abandoned building of Forest Department. The petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2016.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Chandradeep P.S. Case No. 22 of 2016. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner, who will file an affidavit showing his relation with the petitioner.
