The petitioner is in custody in connection with Kartaha P.S. Case No. 50 of 2017, a case under Sections 341/323/307/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation of commission of fire-arm injury to the informant is against co-accused Priya Ranjan Singh. Allegation against the petitioner and co-accused Madhu Kumar is that they had caught hold of the informant when firing was made on him. Considering the nature of allegation and the period of custody of the petitioner, who is in custody since 24.09.2017, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56764 of 2017 (3) dt.05-01-2018 P2/ bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
