Petitioner seeks bail in Jehanabad P.S. Case No.389 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) Section 30-A of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. It is alleged that total 594 litres wine was recovered from the vehicle of the petitioner. Petitioner was not arrested at the spot.

In the written report, it is alleged all the persons had fled away. Petitioner has been made accused only because he is the owner of the aforesaid vehicle.

It is mentioned in para 3 of the bail petition that petitioner has clean antecedents. Petitioner is said to be in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55515 of 2018 (2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 custody since 22.07.2018.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge, II, Jehanabad, in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No.389 of 2017, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
