The sole petitioner who is in custody since 15.6.2016 in Chand P.S. Case No. 70 of 2016 registered for the offence under section 47(A ) (e) of Bihar Excise Amendment Act 2016 has prayed for grant of bail.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on an allegation of recovery of five liters mahua liquor petitioner has been detained whereas learned A.P.P. submits that there is material on record to suggest that petitioner is involved

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32174 of 2016 (2) dt.18-08-2016 2/2 in manufacturing mahua liquor.

Be that as it may, keeping in view the nature of accusation and period of custody and the fact that petitioner is lady, let the petitioner Suman Devi be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand ) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabua / concerned court in connection with Chand P.S.
