JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-03-2019 This writ application has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to acquire the land of the petitioners which is their private land and is being used for construction of a public road.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that without acquiring the land no construction of road over a private land can be made.

Whether the lands which the petitioners are referring are their private lands or not is a matter which can be decided in appropriate proceeding. It does not appear from the pleadings

Patna High Court CWJC No.5661 of 2019(2) dt.29-03-2019 2/2 on record that the petitioners ever approached any authority raising the grievance which they have raised. They have statutory remedy under the provisions of Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, which they could have invoked, raising the grievance which they are raising, in the present application.

This application is, thus, disposed of with the only observation that the petitioners shall be at liberty to approach the Public Grievance Redressal Officer under the Act for redressal of their grievance.

This application stands disposed of.
