The petitioner being the husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 11.04.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 498A and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Basic accusation is of torture for non-fulfillment of dowry demand.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the informant was earlier married with one Baleshwar Das in 1996 and against whom also the informant filed Ahiyapur P.S. Case No.199/97, levelling accusation under sections 323, 324, 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. It is further submitted that investigation has already

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Muzaffarpur (East) in connection with Muzaffarpur Mahila P.S.
