Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 21C/22 of the N.D.P.S.Act and Sections 27(b)(ii) read with Section 36 of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act.
The petitioner is driver of the Scorpio on which several medicines were recovered. Some of them were containing Codeine and some others were banned medicines. Petitioner is in custody since 06.11.2017.
Considering the entire facts as well as completion of the investigation, let the petitioner, above named, on completion of nine months of custody, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.275 of 2018 (3) dt.20-02-2018 Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Case No.30 of 2017 arising out of Jogbani P.S.Case No. 182 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
