Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 504, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of D.P. Act. Petitioner happens to be husband of the informant and earlier he was granted privilege of provisional bail subject to certain conditions but when reconciliation between the parties could not succeed, the petitioner voluntarily surrendered before the court below and remanded in the case.
