The petitioner seeks bail in Nautan P. S. Case No. 146 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 420, 467,468,471,489A, 489(b) and 489(c) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13 UAPA Act, 1967.

In the written report, it is alleged that 39 pieces of Rs. 2000/- denomination notes and 88 pieces of 500 denomination notes have been recovered from possession of petitioner which are said to be forged currency notes. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that there is no allegation that petitioner was trying to circulate those counterfeit notes in the market. He further submits that there is no mention in the written report that any forensic examination

The petitioner is in custody since 1.4.2018.

Considering the aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Nautan P. S. Case No. 146 of 2018 subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
