Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 877 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/201/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner No. 1 is the sister-in-law (Gotni) of the deceased and her position in the family is similar to the deceased.

Considering the general and omnibus allegations and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.30842 of 2021(2) dt.07-03-2022 2/2 also considering her position in the family, the prayer of the petitioner No. 1 for grant of anticipatory bail is allowed. So far as petitioner No. 2 who is the father-in-law of the deceased is concerned, there are specific allegation against him of torturing and demand of dowry, his prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is rejected.

Accordingly, let the petitioner No. 1 Rinki Pandey be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., East Champaran, in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 877 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
