Petitioner seeks bail in connection NDPS case no. 22/2018 arising out of Barachatti P.S. Case no. 444/2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 18, 20 and 22 of the NDPS Act.

Allegation is of recovery of commercial quantity of Ganga weighing 77 kg from dicky of a car which was being driven by this petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since three and half years and till date, charge has not been framed.

Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail and submits that recovery is of commercial quantity of Ganga.
