The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 316/2017 dated 11.06.2017 instituted for the offences under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The son of the informant was shot dead by unknown miscreants. During the course of investigation, the mobile telephone having same IMEI number, which belonged to the deceased, was found from the possession of the brother of the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is a student of Civil Engineering and is studying at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It has further been submitted that merely because

The petitioner is in custody since 09.06.2017 and he does not have any criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate VI, Patna in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 316/2017.
