2. The petitioner is in custody since 05.07.2017 in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 116 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Sections 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated and the allegation of making demand is general and omnibus against four accused persons. There is inordinate delay of 12 days in instituting the FIR on 11.05.2017 for the alleged occurrence of 28.04.2017 without adequate explanation.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations, gravity of the offence alleged as well as the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner
