The petitioner seeks bail in Islampur P.S. Case No. 265/2018, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that 570 litres of country made liquor made in Jharkhand was recovered from a vehicle.

The petitioner is in custody since 27.07.2018. He has clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55388 of 2018 (2) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned VIth Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 265/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
