The petitioner seeks bail in G.O. Case No.253 of 2018, registered under Sections 30(a) and 56(d) of the Excise Act.

The informant intercepted a vehicle in which three persons were sitting. From the vehicle 99 litres of different brands of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is one of the occupant of the vehicle and he is in custody since 28.07.2018 for recovery of 99 litres of Indian made foreign liquor from the possession of three persons including the petitioner. Petitioner has remained in jail for more than two months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61442 of 2018(2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000/- (five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-II-cumSpecial Judge, Nawada in connection with G.O. Case No.253 of 2018.
