The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Section 30(a) 56(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is contended that, as per allegation, 99.9 litres foreign liquor was recovered from a car which was being boarded by three accused persons including the petitioners. It is contended that the alleged vehicle does not belong to the petitioners and the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case. Petitioners claim that they are having clean antecedent and are in custody since 28.07.2018.

No.59239 of 2018(2) dt.06-10-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the abovenamed petitioners are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.D.J. II-cum-Spl. Judge, Nawada in connection with G.O. Case No. 253 of 2018. Further, if the petitioners, after their release in this case, are again found to be involved in similar nature of case then the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of their bail bonds.
