The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation is of commission of torture and cruelty for dowry.

It is submitted that the dispute between the parties has been settled and parties have entered into compromise by filing compromise petition on 12.01.2023. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

In view of the aforesaid fact, the petitioner above-

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19117 of 2023(2) dt.24-06-2023 2/2 named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 272 of 2022, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
