The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 830 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

On secret information that three miscreants have collected at a place for committing an offence, a raid was conducted. One Kunal Kumar is said to have been arrested with firearm weapons. He is said to have disclosed the name of the petitioner and one Nandan Kumar.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28654 of 2021(2) dt.13-01-2022 2/2 that beyond the aforesaid confession, there is no other material to connect him with the offence. It has further been submitted that the petitioner is a student of B.A. PartII and no case has been registered against him so far. Considering the afore-noted submissions on behalf of the petitioner, he, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-I, Danapur, Patna in connection with Bihta P.S. Case No. 830 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

The application stands allowed.
