1. The petitioner has filed the present writ application seeking protection of her life and life of family members from the respondent nos. 5 to 9.

2. According to the petitioner the son of the respondent no. 5 namely Pankaj is in bad company and he is a drug addict and is creating problems to the family members of the petitioner and other villagers. On 23-04-2020 the private

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.621 of 2021(6) dt.31-08-2023 2/3 respondents assaulted to the petitioner and tried to outrage her modesty in the village. The petitioner has submitted an application before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur regarding the occurrence. A complaint case bearing Complaint Case No. 39 of 2021 has been lodged by the petitioner before the ACJM-I, West Muzaffarpur against the private respondents. The private respondents has been threatening the petitioner to kill her.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has already filed an application before the A.C.J.M.-I, West, Muzffarpur and it appears that the petitioner has got trivial dispute with the villagers and has come before this court seeking protection to life and liberty whereas there is no serious threat to life and liberty of the petitioner. If something serious is apprehended by the petitioner, she may approach the Police authorities by filing a detailed representation.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that the respondent nos. 5 to 9 are the co-villagers and neighbours of the petitioner and there appears to be private dispute between them for which petitioner has filed complaint before the A.C.J.M.-I, West, Muzaffarpur, in

5. Accordingly, the present writ application is dismissed.
